C2SDK has grown rapidly since its inception. In a year’s time, our organization expanded out of the founders’ home and moved into our own refurbishment center. In Summer of 2005, we formed a partnership with Sharp Health Care, who has generously committed to donate their recycled computers to us quarterly. Our partnership with Sharp Health Care allowed us to place over 800 computers in the first six months of our relationship. We have also started our a partnership with Scripps Health Care, who has agreed to match Sharp’s generosity by recycling their computers to C2SDK.

On the other side of the program we have forged relationships with many different organizations from our community to help us identify families where the computers would have the greatest impact. We are working with organizations such as the Jackie Robinson YMCA, Armed Services YMCA, the Alliance for African Assistance, the International Refugee Committee, Women to Work programs and the Boys & Girls Club of National City, just to name a few. And our work with the Armed Services YMCA has even landed us a monthly spot on KUSI with Rod Luck!

We are also pleased to announce our new satellite location in the South Bay, please contact us for more information.

C2SDK is an incredible organization with the ability to serve so many San Diego families. By the end of 2006 we placed close to 1,000 computers with low-income families. Now with two years of experience behind us, our partnerships, relationships and goals in place we hope to place over 1,000 computers in the upcoming year. We look forward to your support to make our dreams of better serving the community come true.
